Message from Our President

As I take the reins from Ted, my personal mentor, it is with utmost gratitude and pride that I step into the role of President of Carter Design Group. My journey with this company began as a high school student, working summers and after classes. The creative and physical nature of this work has captivated me from day one, and over the years in the field, one truth has remained constant: the success of every project, from initial design to final installation, depends on true collaboration.

That collaboration happens among our incredible team, our wonderful subcontractors, and, most importantly, our amazing clients. Building those relationships and working together has always been at the core of our company's ethos.

Concurrent with Ted’s role change to Creative Director, we are returning to the business name Carter Design Group, one of the company’s earlier tradenames. Carter Design Group honors Ted’s legacy in having built the company, while celebrating the collaborative spirit that is our hallmark. Our commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and Ted’s creative vision remains unchanged.

I look forward to exploring the new directions the company will take as we navigate this leadership transition. My top priority continues to be delivering the transformative landscape designs and installations that have built our reputation. Here’s to continuing our tradition of excellence while we meet the challenges ahead.
